Role Description
This is a part-time (20 hours per week) on-site role for a Solar Outreach Coordinator. The Solar Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for engaging with potential customers, building relationships, and promoting solar energy and its benefits to the general public. As the Solar Outreach Coordinator, responsibilities include organizing community events, engaging with potential customers about solar, and actively educating them on the benefits of solar energy. Additionally, the role involves training others on solar energy practices.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse communities and individuals
Experience in community outreach and customer service. This is a marketing role.
Ability to conduct research and provide accurate information to the public
Experience in training and presenting information to groups of people
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for renewable energy and environmental sustainability
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred
