Scharm Flooring Covering is looking for an energetic sales associate to join our team. We are seeking an individual who knows how to sell while delivering the highest level of customer service. The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience, excellent organization, and communication skills. Previous floor covering sales experience is not necessary.
The Sales & Showroom Associate will assist showroom guests in selecting carpeting, hardwood, tile as well as other home decor items. The Sales & Showroom Associate’s responsibilities will include the daily appearance of the showroom, assisting customers, collaborating with vendor representatives, keeping samples updated to date, scheduling measures, generating proposals and ordering products.

Job Responsibilities:
- Sales support to include greeting and working with showroom guests, determining customer needs, assisting in scheduling measures, generating proposals and ordering products
- Communication with customers in person or on the phone, as well as other individuals. Answering questions, explaining information, taking orders, following up on orders while providing outstanding customer service
- Supporting the showroom by keeping samples up to date, the showroom neat and presentable, checking price sheets, working with sales reps to ensure samples are current.
- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks experience is a PLUS!
