Event Description:
Generational Diversity in the Workplace Seminar
For the first time in our recent history, multiple generations are in the workplace together, working side by side. As one might expect, each generation has different ideas about work and how it should be approached. These difference can create conflict. It is in our collective interest to try to understand how each generation thinks and what they value.
In the seminar, we are introduced to some of these differences. By deepening our understanding of them, we strive for an outcome of increased communications, teamwork and productivity amongst the multiple generations.
In this Seminar, participants will begin to:
Grow awareness of differences and similarities between generations
Recognize work values of different generations in the workforce
Identify each generation's skills, behaviors and needs
Identify skills effectively working with others
Presented by Ruth Soskin, Workforce Development and Corporate Training
