We have been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in the National Secondary School Recognition Program.
Acknowledged to be among the nation's best, all three schools in Maine Township High School District 207 are comprehensive learning facilities which have been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in the National Secondary School Recognition Program.
About 6,500 culturally diverse students — grades nine through twelve — are offered an educational program of various ability levels; advanced placement, accelerated, regular, transitional and remedial. Beyond the classroom, there are outstanding athletic and fine arts programs, and more than one hundred clubs and activities providing ample opportunities for personal growth and development.
Students consistently perform at levels well above the national and state norms on the ACT (American College Test) and the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test). Among the leaders in Advanced Placement testing, Maine Township High School students also earn recognition in the National Merit and Illinois State scholar competitions and in other academic, career-related, fine arts and athletic programs.
